This guide walks through each part of FaithApp—from your first sign-in
to scripture highlights and home-screen widgets. Skim the list, or
read straight through the first time you install.
01 · Getting started
Create your space
Install FaithApp and open it.
Create an account with your email, or sign in if you already have one.
Choose a nickname others may see on Threads (you can change it later).
Complete any short profile details you’re asked for.
After sign-in you’ll land in the main app. The bottom bar holds four homes:
Diary, Daily Devotion, Podcasts, and Music.
The menu (drawer) holds Scripture, Threads, calendar, profile, and settings.
Tip: Write at least one diary entry before you expect a full day’s devotion. That’s how FaithApp knows your season.
02 · Diary
Your private page
The Diary is only for you. Use it like a journal, a prayer log, or a place
to drop the truth of the day.
New entry — add a subject and write freely.
Voice — record a voice note when typing feels heavy.
Photos & files — attach media that belongs with the memory.
Edit or delete — open an entry anytime to revise or remove it.
Browse by day — flip through past days when you want to remember.
Tip: Short entries still count. “Tired. Grateful for one kind text.” is enough for the day to begin.
03 · Daily Devotion
Your three appointments with the day
This tab is the center of FaithApp. Once you have diary history, it shows
today’s prepared content for the current part of the day.
Period label — Morning, Afternoon, or Night, following your local clock (about 7:00, 14:00, and 19:00).
Passage — a portion of scripture for this slot. Tap it or Read chapter to open the full chapter with the verse highlighted.
Prayer — a short prayer with a simple title (for example, “Prayer for Peace”).
Motivation — a longer word of encouragement with a scene-style title. Generated with the morning and kept on the page all day.
Pull down to refresh — reloads what was prepared for you. It will not keep inventing a brand-new day every time you pull.
Tip: If the screen asks you to write first, open Diary, save one entry, then return here.
04 · Scripture
Read, mark, return
Open Scripture from the side menu for the full library.
Browse books & chapters — move through the Bible at your pace.
Read chapter — clean reading view with verse numbers.
Highlight — long-press a verse to mark it in a color you choose.
Highlights list — revisit everything you’ve marked.
Bible version — set your preferred translation in Preferences.
From Daily Devotion — jumping in from a passage lands you on the right chapter and verse.
05 · Music
Listen with the day
Music offers a playlist shaped by the themes of your devotion day.
Morning and night each have their own listening mood.
Play — tap a song to play in the app when available.
Mini player — controls stay handy while you move around.
YouTube / Spotify buttons — open listening on those platforms.
Connect Spotify — optional; only if you want Spotify linked.
Source label — each track shows whether it came from YouTube or Spotify.
06 · Podcasts
Longer words for the road
Podcasts works like Music: suggestions for the season you’re in.
Play — open the in-app player for YouTube-based episodes.
Open externally — “Open in YouTube” or “Open in Spotify” matches the real source.
Pull to refresh — updates the list for the current media window.
07 · Threads
Share your experiences and testimonies with a community of believers
Threads is a simple space to share short posts with other FaithApp members.
Your diary never posts here unless you write something new for the community.
Open Threads from the side menu.
Read the feed — posts from people in the same faith context.
Write a post — share encouragement, a question, or a short reflection.
Like & reply — join the conversation gently.
Notifications — a badge can show unread activity; open the notifications list when you want to catch up. Nothing is forced on you.
Someone’s profile threads — see posts from a particular person when you open their space.
Tip: You can use FaithApp fully without ever opening Threads. Community is a gift, not a requirement.
08 · Devotion calendar
See the days you showed up
From the menu, open the devotion calendar to review past days.
Days you opened devotion across the day’s slots can show as more complete—
a quiet record of faithfulness, not a scoreboard.
Swipe across months to look back.
Tap a day to revisit what was prepared when it’s still available.
09 · Profile & side menu
You, at a glance
Avatar — add or change your photo from the profile area.
